SFS recognises and supports the contribution of women and small-holder farms to food security, poverty eradication and achieving the SDGs #Sustainabledevelopmentgoals The Kavuzi area is hilly and the farming families there are custodians of place identity and site specific knowledge. Terracing is the order of the day and for most of these small -farms it becomes imperative to underscore the importance of regenerative soil management principles. Today we planted our first garlic crop with the women of Chapongolera and it was a learning experience for both our team and the women farmers. As we start this transformative journey we can not forget to record every milestone and celebrate with our women farmers #sfswomen for their hard work and willingness to adopt best practices that will take them on a regenerative journey. #generationrestoration #womenofsfs #womenfarmers #climatesmartagriculture #sustainablefarmingsolutionsmalawi
