This year was exciting for the Kavuzi catchment community because we launched our interventions and took out our banners and walked for the conservation of their area. We were honored to have the speaker of parliament Right Hon. Catherine Gotani Hara took up the banner with us to emphasize how we need to create communities that are resilient to the shocks that climate change is inflicting. The 31st of October, 2020 was the beginning of our conservation activism as SFS.
